A Strong & Weather-Resistant Aviary Netting Choice
We're dedicated to providing our customers with long-lasting aviary solutions, which is why our 40mm Mesh Aviary Netting is made from high-quality, UV-stabilised polypropylene, making it resistant to sun damage and deterioration.
The edges of the net are reinforced with a selvedge cord, which adds strength and durability to the netting, and also makes it easier to install and secure in your aviary enclosure.
This type of aviary netting has a 2.3mm net thickness, which makes it stronger and more suitable for larger birds, like birds of prey.

3 Step Bird Netting Installation Guide
Setting up your bird net is simple: you will build a wire frame around the area, then clip the net to the wire.
1. Place Your Fixings
- Put Main Fixings every 10 meters and at every corner/turn.
- Put Intermediate Fixings in a straight line between the main ones.
2. Run and Tighten the Wire
- Start: Loop the wire through your first main fixing and secure it with 2 grips or ferrules.
- End: At the other end, loop the wire into a barrel strainer, hook the strainer to the main fixing, and twist to tighten the wire.
(For runs over 10 meters, add a criss-cross wire for extra support).
3. Clip on the Net
- Use a cable tie to anchor the corner of the net to a corner fixing.
- Pull the net tight and square, then clip every single mesh loop to the wire using hog rings.
Quick Tips
- Stainless Steel vs Galvanised: We highly recommend Stainless Steel (304 or 316 grade). Galvanised wire is cheaper but will rust much faster.
- Get the Right Fixings: Make sure your screws/plugs match your surface (wood, brick, metal, or cladding).
