Efficient Safety Net Testing

Our safety net testing service provides an accurate examination of your net's strength and durability, ensuring it complies with the latest safety regulations.

 

All fall arrests and safety netting need to conform with the EN-1263-1 standard, and our team is trained in this specific testing methodology.

 

Our testing machine measures the breaking strength of your net, assessing the kilonewtons (kn) per mesh and overall strength, to determine if it meets safety standards.

 

How Our Safety Net Test Service Works

We are able to provide safety tests for both our own netting and any other manufacturer’s products.

 

When we supply our safety nets and fall arrest nets, we include safety net patches and net numbers attached to the net. Thesepatches can be sent to us for testing using our net testing machine, along with the net numbers.

 

Our machine breaks a test patch to give the energy absorption and breaking strain of the net. We can then compare this data with the required test standard to ensure the net is still strong enough to use.

If you have run out of net test patches, you will need to send the whole net to us for testing.

How Often Should Safety Nets Be Inspected?

As well as yearly safety testing, the nets should be regularly inspected for any visible damage or wear and tear. This can be done by a competent person within your company, or a dedicated health and safety professional.

How Long Does the Testing Process Take?

We endeavour to have the test completed as quickly as possible. Please note that we must receive the net number(s) along with your test patches, or we cannot give you the results.
