With a mesh size of 30mm, it's designed specifically to prevent these birds from entering or nesting in buildings and gardens, and also for use as aviary bird netting. This mesh size is perfect for starlings as it doesn't trap or harm them, but simply deters them from entering or landing.
The knotless net design has been used for added strength and resilience, ensuring it holds up in demanding environments.
Additionally, the bird net material is made from high-quality polyethylene that's chemically inert, rot-proof, and UV-stabilised, providing you with the confidence that it will withstand the elements and offer reliable protection for many years.
We also offer a choice of colours, depending on the setting or personal preference. Our black starling netting is often preferred for commercial buildings, while white provides an ‘invisible’ appearance, and hemp netting blends in well with natural surroundings or properties.

Our Easy Starling Netting Installation Guide

Tools and Materials Needed:
- Pliers, wire cutters, straining wire
- Eyebolts (main fixings)
- Intermediate fixings (pins, rivets, or rackets)
- Ferrules or wire rope grips
- Hook/eye barrel strainers
- Anti-bird netting
- Cable ties
- Hog rings or hog ring pliers
Step 1: Set Up the Perimeter
- Install a wire perimeter around the area you want to protect.
- Fix eyebolts every 10m or wherever the wire changes direction.
- Add intermediate fixings at smaller intervals depending on the bird species.
Step 2: Install the Wire
- Loop the wire through the first eyebolt and secure with 2 ferrules or grips.
- Loop the other end through a hook/eye strainer and attach it to the other fixing.
- Use the strainer to tension the wire. For spans over 10m, add cross-wires for support.
Step 3: Attach the Netting
- Use a cable tie to attach the net to the first corner fixing.
- Hog ring the net to the wire, making sure it's taut and square.
- Check for gaps to ensure full bird protection.
