Anti-Bird Netting Installation Guide
Installing anti-bird netting is simple with basic tools and straining wire. Follow these steps to get started:
Step 1: Set Up the Wire Perimeter

Install a wire perimeter around the area you want to protect.

Before doing this, fix the main bird net fixings (eyebolts) every 10m or wherever the wire will change direction.

Add intermediate net fixings (pins, rivets, rackets) at appropriate intervals, depending on the bird species you're protecting against.
Step 2: Install the Wire

Start by running wire from each main fixing point.

Loop the wire through the eye of the fixing and secure it using 2 ferrules or 2 wire rope grips.

At the other end, loop the wire through a hook/eye barrel strainer. Attach the hook end of the strainer to the main fixing eye.

Tighten the wire to create tension. For runs over 10m, you may need tensioned cross-wires for extra support.
Step 3: Attach the Anti-Bird Netting

Start by attaching the corner of the net to a corner fixing using a cable tie.

Secure the net by hog-ringing every mesh to the wire. Make sure the net is tight and square to avoid any gaps where birds could enter.
By ensuring the net is properly secured and tensioned, you'll effectively prevent birds from accessing the protected area.
